The La Costa Canyon Men’s Lacrosse team has been an unstoppable powerhouse this year. In their current season, the team has been undefeated and remains a force to be reckoned with. Even with the uniqueness of this year, our Maverick lacrosse players have shown up for an incredible 2021 season.

Senior Noah Beacham has been on the lacrosse team for his entire high school career. Beacham has grown with this team since he was a freshman and now recognizes how his position as team captain can inspire his younger teammates.

“The success of this team has shown me what it’s like to be a captain to the team and a role model to the freshman,” said Beacham.

This year has been quite a challenge with regard to scheduling games and playing time athletes in many different sports, has been different. One of those differences this year for the lacrosse team is the types of teams they’re playing.

“Our normal schedule is about 75-percent of out of state/out of conference games. We have had a lot of competition that we have never played before,” said Beacham.

Despite the new competition, the men’s lacrosse team holds a 6-0 undefeated record this season. Beacham expects the LCC lacrosse team to continue their reign by “winning a ring” in the upcoming years. Beacham will be attending the University of Maryland in the fall of 2021 to continue his lacrosse career at the Division 1 collegiate level.

“What I am looking forward to the most at the University of Maryland is the brotherhood of the guys on the team and competing to win a national championship every year,” said Beacham. Congratulations to Noah and our lacrosse team on such a successful season!
